Sneak-Peek Preview Dinner
A theatrical soiree transformed the upper floors of the majestic atrium earlier this year, on June 22, to initiate the forthcoming opening of The Beekman. An enchanting evening ensued with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and a performance that included ballads sung by members of the Young People’s Chorus accompanied by Grammy Award winning soprano Hila Plitmann. Following their performance, singer Helga Davis emerged through a black canopy at the bottom of the atrium. Upon conclusion of her aria, the canopy was removed for a dramatic reveal of the atrium in all its glory. Over 100 guests attended the four-course dinner, which previewed dishes from Tom Colicchio’s on-site restaurant, Fowler & Wells, and there was a surprise performance by soprano Sasha Lazard.
