Macy’s July 4th Fireworks

This year marks the 50^th anniversary of the Macy’s July 4^th Fireworks. To celebrate this milestone as well as America’s 250^th birthday, they will be taking over the New York and New Jersey waterfront.

On Saturday, July 4^th we will experience a kaleidoscope of color launched from:

The Brooklyn Bridge: Built the same year as The Beekman Hotel, this iconic landmark will serve as the centerpiece of the 50^th-anniversary show.

The Lower Hudson River: This beautiful collaboration with Jersey City, brings the show to the West Side.

The Lower East River: Steps away from The Beekman, you will be able to experience pyrotechnics lighting up the Seaport District.

The best place to watch the East River portion of the show is at The South Street Seaport – only a 8 minute walk from The Beekman. Take a walk down the historic cobblestones and enjoy a truly unforgettable experience. The fireworks begin at dark, but the celebration begins at 12noon:
