Jazz at The Beekman

There has always been a strong connection with Jazz and New York City. The connection evolved over the years and now New York Jazz has become a genre in its own right.

For years, The Bar Room has been celebrated as “New York’s Living Room”. Located beneath The Beekman’s stunning, nine-story atrium, the room is set with rich, jewel-toned furnishings offering a simply breathtaking ambiance.

On the weekends, guests and visitors alike are invited to experience Tom Colicchio’s culinary offerings and handcrafted cocktails while enjoying a live jazz band. On Saturday’s, enjoy the soulful interpretations of classics from The Kate Quartet or join us on Sunday’s to enjoy the Temple Court Quartet while enjoying decadent brunch offerings.

Last Fall, Laissez Faire opened its doors at The Beekman and quickly became one of the best new cocktail lounges in Lower Manhattan. Descend into dulcet tones on Wednesday evenings and discover why Laissez Faire has Lower Manhattan buzzing with Live Jazz.
