March has gifted us with longer days, and brighter nights. The bonus being that it has been paired with warmer temperatures. While we are tempted to think that winter is coming to an end, we approach that level of optimism cautiously. One thing we know for sure, the beginning of Spring is closer than it was a few weeks ago.
…and with that we don our spring coats and get ready to enjoy what New York is offering us this month. A few things on our list:
Jazz Brunch at The Bar Room

Under the glow of our ten-story atrium, savor brunch classics created by Chef Tom Coliccio’s culinary team while enjoying live jazz. Brunch offerings include Ossetra Caviar, Brioche French Toast, Smoked Wagyu Brisket and Burnt Honey Panna Cotta.

“Trash” at Perelman Arts Center (PAC)
One of the newest shows at PAC, Trash, will forever change how guests understand theater. “Trash,” which runs through March 28, is written by two Deaf artists — and is performed almost entirely in American Sign Language.
“The show centers on Deaf roommates Tim and Jake who take a comical and insightful dive into their trash and their perceptions of each other’s lives.” Caverly and Morrill’s script uses ASL, spoken translation, projection and even audience voting to unspool Tim and Jake’s story, allowing theatergoers to experience language in a new way. 8 Minute Walk from The Beekman.
